Subject: Quick Question IP: Logged
Message: I'm getting ready to install 32x11.5 tires on my 4x4, which is lifted 3". I just ordered some rims 15x10, but now I read that 15x8 might be better. Is this true? I originally thought I'd like 15x10 because it would stick out more...but with 3 5/8" backspacing I think there will be enough of that.

Message: 5x8 would be fine. Your tread will be narrower than the 10" rims. (The sizeing can be a little confusing, not a true indicator of tread width. For example, my 31x10.5's are only a little over 8" tread width.)
