anyone know if its possible to put the axles and suspension from 1990 2door jeep cherokee into a 1989 dodge dakota 4x4 both are manuals but the jeep has solid front axle and i think they have the same transfer case

Oh yeah, those will fit in a Dakota. And if your bed is long enough, you should be able to close the tailgate.

I'd look for the part #'s on the axles and call a someone who knows what their doing... But serioulsy, forget the cherokee axles throw some rockwells under that beast!!!lol
