Message: I have been reading through some of the messages and it sounds like I can get and answere here. I have a 2000 dakota with a 3" body lift and 33 x 12.5 tires. I need to replace the tires and I would like to put the same size tires on. The problem is my old tires rubbed a little and I don't want the knew to rub. My old lady is making me marry here so money is tight. I have heard wheel spacers are dangerous. Any ideas?

Message: Talk to people that own different brands of tire you are looking at or go to your local tire shop with a tape measure and measure the tires.
Its not very common to measure a tire and find the full stated height, but some are farther from rated than others...you may be able to go to a different brand and gain a 1/2" or so clearance with the 'same' size tire.
