Subject: Torsion bars/leveling kit IP: Logged
Message: Im new to dodge dakotas....Ive always been a jeep man (built up a few.
Ive got an 01 quad cab, 4.7 v8 All wheel drive. I want to raise the front level. Can I do this with the torsion bars? Ive seen a leveling kit that a guy casts himself to raise the front only by two inches....Ive seen it on Ebay, anyone have it? I also just bought a net set of rims 17x8's, for my dakota (bling) It used for a beach buggy almost daily during the fishing season. ANyhelp would be much appreciated. Ryan

Message: Most people get up to 2" out of their TB's. The keys on Ebay would work, but you probably won't need them since it's not recommended going over 2" while cranking the TB's. I only got 1.25" out of my TB's and am contemplating getting keys to reach 2". You can get them for cheaper than the guy on Ebay if you look around the internet.
