Hey everyone, i plan on going to the Genesee County "MOUNDS" offroad park, anybody have any advice about going through the trails, I plan on bringing some friends with me and will post a link later with some pics on it. Are the trails able to handle a basicly stock truck? I do have 31" mud terrains and enough power to easily spin those tires, I know more than likely i'll get stuck somewhere so a tow strap will be with me for sure. Any advice would be appreciated and maybe some people could come out and wheel with me and my buds.

word of caution....take caution while bajaing. Don't go after rain b/c we found out the hard way some puddles are 4+ feet. looks can be deceiving. We had a ton more fun on our quads. I took my 01 Dak with a 3 in body lift and 33's and what a waste. you need something with at least 6 in suspension and 35's to get about anywhere. I'm sure you can find mud to turn, but just take note, you might want to bring an empty flatbed if u plan on runnin hard. The rangers out there will not come n find you or pull you out. It was fun but ya really need a beater to enjoy and push the limits. o well - you can listen to this and take caution or just give it hell and learn the hard way. i wont go back out until i have an old k5 or my buddies 79 ford with 40's. give it a shot, ya can always turn around.

I have been there a few times. As Jim said, take caution on some of the mud holes, they can be deep.
Do a search on google for the Mounds, and there are a few pages out there with some old maps of the place.
Check out michiganjeepers.com for some pictures and stuff.

Thanks Crag and Jim I'll steer away until my truck gets bigger, looks like dunes for now and trails i've got around my area.
