ok i called every manufacture i could think of no one is gonna even think about makin a lift for the 05 so im takin the matter into my own hands and would like the help of you guys im building my own lift kit now the bad part is i dont have alot of knowledge with liftin trucks im usally building race cars lol what i need to know does anyone have a scymatic of a lift and what parts are intaled and any other knowledge i can get my hands on lol im thinkin seince im gonna do this im gonna go and build a 12 inch lift ( i want to be the biggest lol ) but what has been the best designed parts out of all the different lifts i only build the best stuff when i build and im not into buildin a lift thats gonna fall apart so anything anyone can help me out with would be of great help thanks everyone

Are you willing to mess up your new truck? No offense or anything but I would re-think that. 12" custom lift with no experience probably isn't going to have a great out come.

Good luck. There was a guy who posted about a SAS on his gen111 a few months ago, total custom job by a local off-road shop, his pics looked awesome, maybe 9 or 10 inches of lift. But, why are you trying to lift the ugliest truck ever seen?

theres no worry about destroyin the truck they make new ones every day lol j/k but the only experiance i lack is knowledge about lifts thats why i need to pick some brains i have plenty of experiance fabin race car chassis and parts so i know there will be no prob for me custom makin a lift just need the right info

Because ugly trucks need lifting too! Those ugly things are starting to grow on me and I think it would be cool to see one lifted. There's a pic here somewhere with an '05 lifted on some 35's
