Subject: 1" Lift Blocks Install!! IP: Logged
Message: im buying 1" lift blocks tommorow for the rear of my dakota. i will be puting them on tommorow also. my dakota is about 1/2" higher in front, so i figure it will be approx. 1/2" higher in rear when im done. i like the rear a little taller so it should be a good deal. it is pretty inexpensive. the blocks were 29.99 for a pair, u-bolts 10.00 each. i dont know if anyone is interested in doing this to their dak, if you are let me know and i will take some pics of the before and after. i was going to do the 3" body lift(like hawk) also, and rims and 33's but my roommate was selfish and got married so i have to pay twice my rent now. speaking of weddings, i have been in three this summer and have had to pay 100.00 each time for the tux. i dont know how you guys think, but that is a couple of 33" bfg's right there. oh well.
hopefully 3" body lift, rims, 33's in near future.
thanks,
corey

Message: it came 1/2" higher. the torsion bars were already cranked. i havent had any trouble with them. my alignment is great and so is my ride. i could crank them more, but dont want to push it.
