Message: I have had zero problems with mine and it handles like a s.o.b. That's the problem. Sometimes I would like to get loose and it's damn near impossible. I tried to do a donut and it just drove in a circle...funny. I can nail it off the line and won't even chirp, it just grabs and goes. It's good for racing, but it kinda takes some of the fun away..hope this helps.

Message: My glovebox says it has a limited slip diff with 3.55's, I don't know if it includes the front. In AWD it spins all fours in the dirt when I try to make donuts though.

Message: What kinda gas mileage do you get out of your awd?? I looked at one when I bought my dak, but decided to go with the 4wd model because I figured the AWD would get worse mpg.

Message: I have a 04 QC 4.7 AWD with LSD automatic. It
does have a bed cover, side bars with steps and
covers around the windows although everything on
it is factory.
I get 15 to 16 city and 18 to 20 highway.
I am not an off roader but frequently have it on
the family farms and have driven in snow and
rain. So far I have had not problems and very
little if any tire spin pulling out other stuck
trucks.
Last winter I pulled a 5.9 extended cab with 1100
pounds of tools out of a neighbors yard and up
this hill.

(I do not know how to post an image)
Personally I love the fact that the truck is so
stable and easy to keep on track no matter what
the conditions outside are. I test drove other
Dakotas and decided AWD was the only way to go.

Message: Bruce, you include images like this...
[img src="http://pics.2ward.com/family/Snow_04/dscn3779-640.jpg "]
But you actually use the less-than and greater-than characters instead of the square brackets I have in the example... Had I not done that, another instance of your picture would be there.
