1998 Dodge Dakota CC 4x4 Black
91393 miles on the Odometer (probably around 120k actually)
Magnum V6 Engine
5 Speed Manaul Tranny
PS, PW, PL, PM
AM/FM, CD, Tape player (new front speakers)
Grey Cloth interior
Bedliner and fiberglass Toneau cover
Sliding rear Window

Additions and modification:

Front Dana 44 SAS with Fox Air Shocks by MIG Offroad Center
3-Link with Panhard bar
Hysteer for drag link
Tom Woods Front CV Driveshaft
Rear SOA Ford 9"
Just rebuilt rear Driveshaft by Republic Diesel
4.56 Gears front and rear
Newer 35" Mud King XT's on Steel 15" wheels
Optima Red Top battery
Cold Air Intake
Electric Line Lock

This truck flexes like crazy and does very well offroad. I have taken it out less than 10 times due to the need of a daily driver.

Problems:
Needs a new steering box (current one leaks)
There are a few dents here and there
The Westin Sidesteps have been dented very badly and can be removed
The front bumper has damage on the passenger side (I was going to build a tube bumper, but haven't had the time)
There is no speedometer or odometer because there isn't a speedsensor in the rear axle. This causes the truck to "stall" when comming to a stop, unless you rev the engine above 1500 rpms. (Makes more sense when you see it in person, but is not a big deal and honestly you get very used to pushing the gas a little at every stop and it will never stall.
I believe the heater box is going out on it.
It was recently involved in a Hit and Run and hasn't been repaired yet (Insurance company ain't really helping out much). Only a dent in the tailgate as the majority of the damage was to the trailer it was towing.

This is all I can think of for right now, I will edit this if anything else comes to mind. A front bumper could easily be made by MIG Offroad Center for Labor only because the material is already at his shop. He also has a Stock Steering Box at the shop too. I have simply become burnout on this truck and would like a change. I also need a tow rig for Competitions as this Hit and Run thing has changed my mind about borrowing other people's vehicles.

I am looking to get $6000 or best offer. I am really desperate to sell it as I don't have the time to mess with it any more and really need a bigger truck. I have spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on this truck and would just like to have a full size diesel truck instead. If there are any more questions please don't hesitate to ask.

Pictures can be sent via email, but please only those interested. This truck will be put on Ebay if I find another truck.

Please email me at soliddakota@hotmail.com or pm me as I don't get a chance to check this board very often.

Tried to send you an email but bounced back....

I will get you pics as soon as I can borrow someones camera, as a friend decided to lose mine this past weekend.

The front tires look out but they are very close to being correct. I haven't had an alignment done on it very recently, but the last time it was checked by tape measure (a month or two ago) it was approximately 3/16" toed out, which is close to what you want it to actually be anyway. The truck drives perfectly straight down the road, but the steering wheel is maybe an 1/8 turn off center. This truck was driven daily about 30-40 miles before I bought my new truck and had no problems with daily driving it, but others may not like this as a daily driver. I have priced it to be a "project" for a daily driver, or as an awesome trail rig that needs very minor work.

All of the work on this truck was performed by Conn Wilson of MIG Offroad Center in Lexington, KY. You can contact him if you want via his website www.kentuckyoffroad.com, or by phone 859-225-jeep. He is a very reputible business and has performed many custom axle swaps and custom suspensions on vehicles. I personally helped on some of the work as he is a friend of mine and to keep some of the costs down to myself, but he is the brains behind the suspension. This truck has been daily driven for two years on a solid axle so I know the suspension is very solid.

As I stated in the posts above, I have simply become burnt out on this truck due to my Offroad Racing Team. It simply takes all the time I would like to spend on fabrication and repairs each season and I don't feel like working on the Dakota anymore. I also needed a bigger truck for my daily job and the Dakota just had to go. I really need to sell this for as much as I owe on it because I do not have the additional cash on hand to pay it off right now. I am very motivated to sell it so if you are interested at all please offer me a price and I will seriously consider any offers.

As you can tell I am not going to rip anyone off with this truck because there is a lot of expensive parts that have been put on this vehicle and the vehicle itself is worth a lot of money. I have stated every single problem that I know is wrong with it and have no intentions of hiding anything from anyone.

Sorry for the long post and I look forward to any further interests, if you still want more pictures please let me know and I will get them to you ASAP.

Thank you very much,

Nick Arlinghaus
