Well I just got my bumper from kennesaw mtn. it sure took a long time!! I orderd it on 4-14-05 and recieved it on 8-31. the bumper is pretty good quality not the best but well worth the money $600 deliverd, not worth the wait or the dealing with the boss kyle. you can check it out on my car domain paige http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2106135

I completely agree with you scott. I ordered mine on 7/7 and they said it would be shipped on 8/31. I called the other day and it is still in production and should ship out hopefully the 8th or 9th.. I just hate the fact they don't tell ya what's going on. and yeah kyle is kind of a jerk off to deal with.. We will see how the product is before I say anymore..

No the bumper did not come pre-drilled. It was not to hard to mount though, it took about 2 hours to remove the old one and put the new one on.

forget these kennesaw guys, check out Hanson Enterprises. you will pay more but man its worth it. to check out my hanson bumber, go to The Street Rod Manufacturing website - a disk brake conversion supplier, and click on "Customer Rides" There you will see the best available bumper and disk brakes for a Dak. Paul at Hanson is the opposite of kyle - he's great to work with and no bu--sh--.

These guys may or may not know exactly what they are doing with fabrication and everything else. But they sure do lack the customer service aspect.. Once again I called this monday, mind you it should have shipped the 8th or 9th.. Well it hopefully shipped tuesday or maonday.. I have no clue and getting fed up with dealing with dinks. My suggestion is precisely what everyone else is saying GO HANSON.. More money, but I could have had 2 bumpers in the time it's taking me to get one from these guys.. I'll keep you updated on progress and product satisfaction when in doubt I actually recieve it.. Dale

Yeah Justin.. Just pay it.. You will receive it before the fabrication even gets started if you order it through Kennesaw.. Like I said it should've shipped monday or tuesday, but either way it should have been here by now.. I'm in Michigan and it shipped from Georgia.. a whole 2 day trip.. It will piss you off easily if you order it through kennesaw Justin. Just do the favor and pay extra.. believe you me, the customer service will be 100% better.

New visitor, Seems as alot of you posters know your stuff. Does a replacment bumper allow you to run 33 or 34s with no lifting. Seems like the rubbing would be on the front behind the bumper. Also will you lose the ODrive?

Craig, i dont personally know of anyone doing this....but i am pretty sure you could run 33s with a kennesaw or hanson with no lift...i've heard of guys doing it stock with trimming to the oem bumper...might want to see if you can find someone first but i think it would work

I ordered my Kennesaw at the beginning of August. I have had good communications with Kyle. I never got the bad vibe these other dudes are talking about. I have been patient and he says another week or so. I am okay with that because who wants to piss of the guys making heavy duty equipment for your truck right. If they fudge up the welds because you rush them, your screwed.
Spitting in a sandwhich is one thing. Going have assed on a winch bumper is a bigger deal.

Alright boys, I got the bumper late like I thought. It was actually shipped on this monday. got it yesterday. Decent shipping time from georgia to michigan. But the powder coat had a couple scuff marks from shipping. As for installation.... Well I wound up cutting almost an inch off each side or the mounting plates. just to line it up and make a superb fit. Overall I am satisfied but some cutting involved with installation as I found out.. But I'll get some pics up here in the future..

well, for several reasons I vote Hanson. If you have not seen my truck, check out tsmmfg.com click on "customer rides." Unlike Dale's bumper, the Hanson bumper was a perfect fit with all the hardware, including bolts, supplied. Including mounting the winch, the removal of stock bumber and install took, 4 hours, including a trip to Sears to buy a bigger ratchet handle....
