Has anyone had to replace there rear trailing arm? I'm trying to find some prices on the net for the arm and extentions which connect to the frame. Any info would be much appreciated.

rear trailing arms? Unless there is something different with the 2005 Dakotas, I haven't looked under one yet, I don't ever recall seeing trailing arms on a Dakota. Unless you're refering to the torsion bars on the front end of a 4x4. That's not a trailing arm, thats your spring. Those are only available from the dealer and unless you're looking at a full suspension lift kit, there are no extentions for the adjusters. What year dakota?

Dakotas don't have trailing arms. That's for coil spring suspensions - Dakotas have leaf springs.

The 2005's have a front coil springs suspension, torsion bars are history.

Sorry bout that guys, Advance Auto are Jackasses. I thought it was my sway bar link in the rear. and they told me it was a trailing arm..Idiots.. I just recently installed some ES9000's from Pro Comp and now when the suspension fully extends it makes a kind of clunking noise. But I went to the dealer and they just told it was the shocks.. Go figure it's going from gas shock to Nitro shocks.. But thanks for the input.. I'll come here before I go to advance auto parts again that's all I can say..
