anyone seen one. i am making my own and having it painted...just wondering...
im thinking it will look pretty cool with some lights on each corner and s spare tire...possibly a jack and shovel? ive seen a lot on other lifted trucks and suvs but never a dak.

I made one,I dont exactly call it a basket though,but i have lights on all four corners and in front,and my shovels and jack are mounted on the side,along with 2 paleo picks and an axe.Then i painted it to match my truck I love it,it holds all my desert equip.

bucket, that truck is wild, i see what you mean that is more like a safari double decker! i just meant the black baskets that companys like conferr make...sweet truck though, i like those tires

Justin hey thats a good one,i never thought of it as a "safari" rack,i like it, I will take more detailed pics of just the rack next week and post em maybe if your going to build your own you might get an idea or two,i have all the lights hidden behind plates so its hard to see in the pics i got now how this thing is set up,check back next week,and when you or if you build yours,let me see it maybe i can get some ideas off yours.

If you make a small basket above the cab,and you can weld,you can do anything you want as far as dimensions,i needed something huge for all my crap,still i preferred to make it than to buy one.

yeah i definetly wanna make my own, they're like 300$ if you buy one! plus then i can build the basket to the exact dimensions i want. yeah your basket is huge, you coud haul all sorts of stuff. just so you know it may be 3 weeks before i get this thing built...i have all the materials sitting in the garage, just not time. i welded a two frames and grinded them smooth like 3 months ago and have done nothing since...guess it's a project? let me know whne you get some good pics of the basket up

Yeah i will i am going to take some detailed pics on sunday and should have em up by wed or thurs,and from now on its "safari rack" not basket.
