I have a 2000 Dakota Quad cab 4X4with the
4.7 V8. It is time to replace my shocks. What
would be good replacement shocks? I
cannot afford the high $$ shocks that are
often advertised. As of right now, my financial
and driving needs are that of something close
to the stock set up.

I have a set or RS5000's on mine that I'm very happy with. I hear a lot of good things about the Edelbrock IAS shocks, and the rears are on sale at Summit for $20 each. I've also heard good things about the Monroe Magnum.

I went with the Monroe Reflex. They are good on and off-road.
