If im going to run a 33x11.5 what width wheel would be better an 8 or a 10? i dont wanna get too big cause im afraid itll come off the bead or i dont want to get to small for the same reason.

I have never run a tire that big.
But when I look for the widest tire I can fit on a certain rim...I do the following.

If you already know the brand or type of tire you want go to that brands website. IE Kumho Tires.
If you go to kumho's website, pick the tire you want and it will generally show all the available sizes in a chart. In that chart is lots of useful information...like min/max rim width.

So I suggest going to different tire manufacturers websites and look at the different charts and compare it to your desired size / rim size.

im runnin 33 by 12.5 on an 8 inch rim,, looks good,,, ive done quite a bit 4x4ing with no problems

I've got a 2nd generation Dakota and i'm running with no lift at all 31X10.50 on stock rims no rubbing!!! Works great
