Message: 6"????? That's crazy...hey if you do it keep it posted I want to know how that turns out. I would think it would be really wobley<- (how ever you spell that).
Message: don't do it, your Center of gravity will be to hight. the added height will be to much stress for your body mounts. there is a reson that no one sells a bl over 3". stick with the 3" body lift and just crank your T bars for a few more inches
Message: I've heard of people running 35's with the body lift and cranked torsion bars. I almost did it but realized its too big and too much stress on the front end. But jeez man, what the hell were you thinking with a 6" body lift? Were you gonna put a sleeper cab UNDER your friggin bed?
Message: so i cant do a 3in bodylift and a 1" bodylift put together? What about six hockeypucks bolted toghether. I would use grade1 zinc hardware of course for that extra security!
Message: no he bought the truck from a guy in duluth mn. it had a v6 5 speed 4x4 and he parked it next to my v8 4x4 and it sat higher so we checked it out and theres a hockey puck for a body lift so its only like a 1 inch lift
Message: I got a chance to look at state laws for lifted trucks, and I saw that most have law limiting body lifts to 3". Better check your state. Besides with a 6" body lift, you are gonna have to do a lot to make it work.
