I dont think that should be a problem if you have 7" rims, which I think they started putting on around 97. Mine has 6" rims and I get 235X70X15's on them. If my calculations are even close to correct, that translates to approximately 28x9.25x15. Keep in mind your rims are probably an inch wider. Hope I was of some help

i have 31.10,50 15s on a 96 cc 6inch rims no problem ps its is a 4x4 no lift

Yah not many choices for us. I looked around too but dont need $300 rims just casue I want to put on fatter tires. Not to mention that I dont even have a limited slip diff.

i have a friend with 31/10.50/15 on a stock 99 dakota with the smaller 15x6 or 15x7 rim

I have a set of 4 of the stock 10 spoke 15x8 that came with the tire and handling group on Gen III's if anybody is interested.

Just to let everyone know I decided on the 30x9.5R15's and they fit fine. I have General Grabber MT's and they look great. Thanks for everyones input.
