Message: I've read the posts and I'm still wondering. I need tires and I want to go to 32's (I have 31's right now) but I don't know if they'll fit (no rubbing). I plan on getting a body lift in the future but right now all I can afford is the tires. I want to know if cranking the T-Bars will give me enough lift because right now my 31's just look so wimpy. Message: I just put my 32 on last week. i got 3" body lift i used 3.5 back space on the rims and went with 32x11.5x15 and they rub like a pig so i cut the fenders and now they barely clear,i gotta go suspension lift now the tires are still too close for comfort.

Message: Adam, obviously your dak is much different than buckets since he has a gen II dak. you should be fine. if you stick with stock wheels you'll get a little rubbing on the frame. my friend ran 32x11.5 bukshot mudders by maxxiss on his 99 cc 4x4 and was fine.

Message: Adam,
I have a 2000 Quad 4x4 that I ran 32x11.5 BFg all terrains on for a while. To keep them from rubbing I had to install 2" blocks in the rear, crank up the torsion bars and trim some of the inside of the wheel well. As a side note, the tires were mounted on rims with a 3.5 backspace, which I believe contributed to the rubbing. I would recommend using stock rims or rims with 4.5 backspacing if you can.

Message: Thanks for the input guys. I'll try the torsion bars and see how well that works. When I go to get new tires I'll see if they'll mount just one and see how it works if no I guess I'm gonna have to stay with the 31's :( . Might as well have an alignment done to huh?

Message: Adam, I have 99 4x4 sport cc. Came wiht 31's...I installed a 3" BL to prepare for 33's. I have some rubbing on full load - turns (or heavy articulation). I thing I could have fit them with some minor trimming without the BL... I am actually thinking about 35's with some trimming. I have BFG MT's 33x10.5 so that I could keep the stock wheels..going to 35's would require new wheels with a different back spacing. I am not very familiar with 00's but as my tires measure just about the full 33", I would think that you could fit 32's. I have actually thought about pulling the PA 3" BL...my only rubbing is on full rear load..which could be compensated for with overload springs...the rubbing is on the mounting screws of the fender flares...
I am not into the street queen 4wd look, but performance and clearance.
Last hunting trip, I had a whole 6x6 elk and 4 hunters getting out of some steep loose rock with only minor rubbing on sharp uphill turns. A horse size animal and 2 not so small hunters in the bed.
If it were me...dont settle... tires are expensive..get what you want and make the mod that you need to fit you use of your truck. You can get a BL for $100 or so..if I recall correctly...not the best type of lift..but it fit my needs of tire clearance.
