tried out my truck this weekend with the new lift. here's a pic, went to hidden valley trail in colorado. was alot of fun had 2 jeeps and tacoma along too. all the pictures can be seen @

People down in Colorado Springs. Tanner 4x4. the front & rear are out of a 78 f150 HD 4link with coilovers in front. This a buddy snapped for me. if you look underneath my axles are crossed. The truck Performs AWSOME off road and on the ruts and rocks

That turned out really nice man. I'm jealous...the more Dakotas I see with sas the more I wish I could afford to do the swap to my truck. Curious how much wheel travel you've got under there now?

I know its an adjustable lift. up to 12 inches, as far as wheel travel i never did get the rti from the guys. there is enought to fit 39's in there with it adjusted all the way. i'll let you know when i get it from them or find out. Ya i love the conversion but it is expensive...my wife told me i cant buy any new mods for my truck now for awhile...thats what she thinks, just wait till i start breaking things... 8)

And thanks everyone. The people at tanner (tanner4x4.com) are decent people. i love my truck, i'm taking it to the iron range in either july or november. wanna check out the trails they did the UA on for 4wheeler tv/mag. after my next kid is born (hopefully soon..poss this week) i plan on starting on some of the tougher trails in colorado. I post picture @ http://offroadworld.tenmagazines.com, Q's picks on all my trail rides.

around 5000, nice truck too...white looks good 8)
it got pricey..but honestly i think it was worth it as long as i use it

really at 5 grand you got a killer deal. the truck looks like it will and does perform excellent. i know people who have have done all the labor, as well as rebuilding junk yard axles and still pay in the 4k area. the fact you got to wipe you hands of all the labor and just enjoy the finished product for slightly more is awesome. please keep the pictures and trail reports coming as you hit more trails and test everything out.

thanks scott, i plan on riding twin cone in colorado after my next kid is born...(soon) guess it has a pretty good rock garden...will post when i have some new pics...hopefully in the next few weeks! if you want check my page out has some other pics and the guy's web site has all the pictures of the trp. especially the deep water crossing

sorry had some trouble with the truck. busted drive shaft, getting it off the mountain today...john has a think 2-4inch lift and quick disconnects on it. also has a winch and other goodies. no locker. i have pretty good stuck pictures when i get back i'll post them i got into a very hairy situation last friday and almost rolled. its kinda funny now. will post later or tomorrow morning.

Hahaha, i was able to get my truck out. put the tire chains on. my buddy pulled me out with is tacoma, with chain and a locker up the icey/snowy hil in about 6-12inch of snow. found another guy stuck about 20-30yrd down the hill too. Busted drive shaft. knocked my steering too. so as i get it fixed i'll be back out on the trail in about a week, later!
