Message: the tires i really wanted are on national backorder for 3-4 weeks, and i need tires by friday, so here's the question...
i got a 3" body lift and a tad bit of crankin on the ol' bars...i was gonna fit a 33x12.5x16 on my stock 16x8 rims in the trxus sts radial. but now im forced into almost any other tire and was looking into the pro-comp xterrain's...anyone on here have a set they care to comment on, milage, noise ect... also will the 305 70r 16 fit with little to no rubbing?

Message: What tires were you gonna get? What is your use gonna be? Street queen for look or are you actually gonna off road it?
I myself am looking at the firestone destination MT's and I am going with them. New design and good feedback.
BFG over rated. Goodyears are not what they claim to be. I dont care for the x terrains or boggers or swampers.
When I go off roading or on a trip I travel lots of miles at times. So ride is a concideration but not over traction. I want good traction off road but again I dont want to be bounced around.
Just my experience, I wheel with lots of different people running different tires on different rigs.

Ummm I did not think you could get 16" tires in a standard size (33x12.5x16). I think your best bet is a 285x75x16. Anything bigger I think you will have rub problems more than you want.
I have never run that tire you mention but a Dakota guy in our off road group runs them and likes them ok. He got them a few months back and has run them in Sand Snow and mud.
He said on road they are not bad. Not sure on milage and stuff.
