Message: Guess that depends on how you use your tires and what you want your truck to look like.

Message: Unless you really need the traction that TSL's are gonna provide I wouldnt get them. The thing is TSL are pretty heavy and with all that traction and what not you could easily grenade your front end.
I would just stick with some MT's if you really really dont need the TSL's

Message: if you want a good mean offroadlook that is more functional on road there are several choices. from what i see and hear Kumho Venture M/Ts are the best for the buck (about 110$ (33x12.5)) other than that any type of BF Goodrich tires seems to be very liked, but that will cost. personally i'd roll with the kumho's. check them out at tirerack.com

Message: I have the TSL Radials on my truck right now and I liked the Goodyears MT/Rs better on the road. The TSLs are narrower and taller then the MT/Rs are. The traction that the Swampers gives you off road is no match to the Goodyears.
I have been calling my tires Stupid Swampers.
To answer your question, no they are not worth the money.

Message: I've been looking for tires for a while. I came across today a tsl bias ply rated as "12-15lt". It measures 32.1" tall and 12" across with 10" of tread. This was the perfect size for what I'm looking for, and national tire and wheel has 'em for $113/piece. My buddy's jeep had tsl radials and that friggin thing would go anywhere (also had a rear locker though). Bias plies have even better offroad traction and $113 per tire is a steal. I'm thinking of buying me a set of these bad boys for strictly offroad tires once I send in another truck payment.

Message: Iv'e got destination mt's from dayton on my truck and love them. Theyre basically the same as the firestone destination mt's just a few bucks less per tire. On or off road theyre great. Nice lookin sidewall too. Better traction off road than my old thornbirds but awsome street driving too. So far the tread wear seems to be good even though I have a heavy foot.
