Everything else is good far as front end parts are concerned. Just ordered a MOOG idler arm, i'll see how this one works out. Let me know if anyone else has similar problems. Oh yeah 97, cc, 4x4, rancho3", 33x12.5 destination mt's,and yes I wheel fairly regularly.(NO rear locker sucks!!!)Anyone know if who makes a LSD for the front dana 35? Message: When I had the Rancho on my truck I never had trouble with the idler arm, but shortly after I took it off, I needed to replace it to do the alignment.
My advice, and what others have told me, is to get the lifetime warranty part from NAPA, and hang on to your receipt. The arm isn't the easiest thing to change, but at least when you need a new one you just exchange it at NAPA.
Best of luck!

Message: Hey Kory how's it going? Did you move to Alaska? Did you get your straight axl or you still runnin the ifs? The lift has been great so far. The little bit of extra clearance is great and it seems to be pretty stout. The alighnment gave me some trouble for awhile but is all set now. I think I'm gonna put a 2" bodylift on and a rear locker when I get my taxes back. Want the 2" bodylift so I can turn my torsion bars down for better flexibility off-road. Hope all is well Thanks again for the lift it's GREAT.

Message: Hey, Eric! Glad to hear you're enjoying the lift! I still feel bad about not sending you the brake lines, but sounds like you got that squared-away. Yeah, the alignment is tricky from what I've read on the boards. The key is to find a good shop or you'll have to do it multiple times. I was fortunate enough to have it done right the first time. The guy said it was a pain in the butt, but he did an excellent job, and it held its alignment the entire time I had it. I periodically had it checked and checked it when I got my new tires and it never moved.
Unfortunately, my truck is still sitting on the IFS. I'm still in Arizona (move date kept getting moved back), and the axles are at my folks' house in Wisconsin. I found a guy in Michigan that was putting 1-ton axles on his 1/2-ton Ram. He was nice enough to drop them off in Wisconsin for me, so I'm picking them up on my way to Alaska. My brothers inspected "the goods" for me and said that he actually gave me the whole front suspension including the coil buckets, brackets and all, so that'll hopefully keep my fabrication to a minimum. Not looking to have the biggest truck out there, but looking to have a decent daily driver and trail rig on 35" tires.
I've also bought a Zena underhood welder that I have yet to install. Looking to make the truck practical and more or less a swiss army knife for the trail.
I've written a gosh darn novel here so I'll sign off, but I hope all is well with you! I'll post-up some more when I get to Alaska and will send-out some pictures when I get the truck on a solid front axle!
