Message: draw tite makes one, and there are several others, best place to find a good fair priced quality hitch is your local u-haul believe it or not.. they have a large selection, or a truck accessory store if there is one near you...
hope this helps

Message: Putnam hitch makes a good hitch for the 1997-2004 Dakota's. It is rated at 5000 lbs. and is a no-drill unit. It is a 1 piece welded unit. Part number 25064. Installation rating is A, which to a shop means about a 15 minute install. This is the hitch I plan to use on my '02 QC 4x4.

Message: Go to the bone yard and find a wrecked truck. Pull off the hitch and plug with all the correct bolts, and bolt it on to yours. A little more time consuming, but a lot cheaper.
