Message: do what my friends don't make sure it runs great. i haven't done a thing to my 98 4x4 and i run right along-side lifted jeeps. so as far as i'm concerned make sure you need it first. at the same time you don't always know what you need till it's too late. so if you have to start somewhere i've heard some good things about twisting the tortion bar up front and putting some small blocks under the rear leafs, but plan on getting your alignment (re)done all of that can give you a few more inches, and with a small body lift as well you shouldn't have a problem with some 33" which you might get on those stock rims. spend some money if you want and get a locker for the rear. i can't say i have one but i driven one and wish i had the money for it. now i have to get to work because that all sounds like a good idea, good luck
