I wanted to say thanks to the group from Southern California off roaders club. I had a great time at Pismo with you all. Great group of people!!! Sorry I could not stay all day but we are planning to reurn to Pismo maybe Sept 7 and camp out. I never thought sand duning could be so much fun.
By the way I did see Ed crack a smile a few times.

Yup. I really enjoyed it, too. It's tough to explain to an "outsider" how getting up at 5am to drive more than 400 miles round-trip, with a few hours on the sand in between, is well worth it. Reckon it's one of those "... you wouldn't understand" kinda things ;-)

They will be at Pismo again on Aug 3 and 4th this year for a camp out. The Northern and Southern groups are going to meet. Should be a good time.
And Yes Ed was part of the So. group.
