Message: to tell u the truth im not really a fan of body lifts, but i really dont wanna spend a grand on a suspension lift. ive heard from my buddy that body lifts can sometimes mess up the truck worse than a sus. lift. is this true?? sumthin tells me he mite be wrong since it seems like most of u have body lifts and are happy with them.

Message: I have put body lifts on 3 of my previous vehicles. Two of them I loved and one was a pain in the but. The two that I had real good luck with were the ones on my 89 chevy k1500 and the one on my 96 s-10. The one I put on my 96 Ford was a nightmare. I have yet to put one on my Dakota, because I don't like how the front bumper is raised with the lift. It seems to expose some of the ac condensor or radiator. I am saving my dollars for the rancho 3 inch suspension lift, just because I think it looks better. Just my 4 cents worth.

Message: i think since i dont ever go offroading since theres no trails around here, ill probly just put 31s on when my stock tires wear out. i guess if i lived somewhere else where i could go wheelin a couple times a month things would be different.

Message: Do a search on BL's there are a lot of people happy with them, me included, had mine on for 50K miles now, no problems with the lift. Replaced ball joints and 1 bearing up front, but these are common problems for a dakota. No other problems and I love the lift on my truck.
Just my 2 cents.
