 Subject: Shifter extension

I was going to purchase a trailmaster body lift for my 93 dakota but when I went to order. It said that I may need a shifter extention Part # 40119M. I do have a 5 speed manuel trans. Does anyone know if I need this part or will everything work fine without it. I couldnt find anything in you forum "archives".
One more question the place I was going to order from is wheelsnaccessories.com. The lift kit is $110.00 does anyone now if there is anywhere I may be able to find it cheaper. Thanks in advance for you help.
