New Jeeper,
Daystar makes a cool 1.75" kit for about 165.00. If your gonna go all out go for the Skyjacker 8". If you want to go 31" tiresuse the Tuff Country 3.5 and spend the extra 150.00 and get the flex kit. The Daystar kit you can go about 30" tires and the Skyjacker use 35's. But with the 35's your gonna need to gear the diffs. Dont mess with the 4.10 ratio go with the 4.88, especially if your gonna add extra weight of racks, winches and bumpers. The Tuff country lift is about the most cost effective way to lift your jeep and make it look right and perform well, about a grand installed at a shop. But if your any mechanically inclined you can do it in your driveway in a couple of hours. Just so you know I actually know what Im talking about my wife is currently driving an 88 cherokee with 7" of lift 35's and 4.88 gears, winch and Pro rock bumpers and still gets 18 miles per gallon with a stock 4.0 (not high output) Hope this helps if you got mor qustions just write.

I have a 91 Cherokee and unless you are
talking about the old full-size Cherokees from
the 70's your current Cherokee is a unibody.
There is no frame therefore there is no body
lift. It's suspension lift or nothing, but one thing
about it, when you put a lift on a Cherokee
there aren't many 4x4's that look better.

Well allow me to retort...

I just wanted to clear up the point made earlier about lifting unibodys, and in specific the BRAT. You can do a hybrid body lift on a unibody. The way it works is by spacing out the crossmembers from the body/frame itself using a set of spacers (for small lifts) or a full subframe. I own an 82 BRAT with 12 inches of lift and I assure you it can be done. I have had everyone from parts store clerks to Subaru service managers give me that "yeah sure" look, then when they see it....

I have never looked under a unibody Jeep but I would love to and see what is possible.
