Assuming you asking about a 4x4, TrailMaster is the only suspension kit available. You've heard correct, if your doing any serious off-roading, the kit doesn't hold up well.

Try going to the link mudman posted. Looks like that would have answer your question.
Never heard of smb or something?? and the only kit I ever found for the 93 4x4 was the Trailmaster kit. I too ran into the same issues as the post in that thread. The brackets are just too thin and I bent something every time I took the truck off-road.
