Hi, litle question for you about the body lift and its my last one b4 buying the lift.

My truck its a automatic trans. did you add to extend the shifter harm (not the 4x4) the transmission??

No, with the auto trans you don't need to do any welding or anything... The install is pretty easy.

The kit comes with two metal extension rods - one for the manual shifter and one for the transfer case shifter (I didn't know there was such a thing as a manual xfer case on dakotas but it doesn't matter - you don't need either piece). Throw both of those 3" metal rods away! The trickiest part I found was the steering extension... It didn't want to seat all the way down onto the steering box. But it's been holding on fine for a while now and no steering slop.

Oh, you might want to weld in the "box overload protectors"... They're 2 little metal squares that go under one of the ribs of the bed.
