Anyone planning on heading out to the Baja for the races in early 2002. My wife and I are planning on going. We plan on watching the races and tearing up some of trails around San Felipe.
San Felipe is a cool little party town durring the races.

I havent been able to go south of the border yet to watch the SCORE races, but I work for the Best In The Desert racing who does races in Nevada. I hear the SCORE races are good and I'd love to get down there sometime.
Too bad nobody has done any desert racing using a Dakota. I wish Mopar would put sponsorship money somewhere else besides oval track racing and other asphalt racing.
I think the desert races are the best way to promote the vehicle being sponsored. Hummers are not allowed to be modified at all for those races, except seat belts, radios, etc. Great exposure for them.

Do you think a Dakota can be raced in class 7s(stock mini and mid sized pickups)? I would think it would have to be modified. the front suspension does not seem up to the punishment it would recieve durring one of those races.
