If I slap in 2" blocks in the rear and crank the torsion bars on my 2000 4.7L 4x4, am I going to have to do something with my intake? Right now I have the stock tubing with the Airaid system on it. Will the lift affect that at all?

Yes. It will raise the altitude of the intake, and richen the mixture. You'll need to move the IAT sensor, place a resistor in the fan circuit, and rewire the O2 sensor circuit. A hypertech will adjust the rev limiter to match. Neon lights placed near the intake port will condense the air intake charge, which increase volumetric efficiency and adds about 40hp while increasing fuel mileage about 15%.
You'll also raise the CG, so try a lighter synthetic oil to compensate.
Your mileage may vary. Some assembly required. Results not typical. Batteries not included. Void where prohibited by law and common sense.

Nah it's all good. Don't beat on .boB, he was helpin me out before in a diff post. So I won't have to worry at all? Good, b/c I just bought that Airaid back in March and didn't want to have to toss it. I'm gonna finish off the piping from it with PVC, but it'll be easier runnin the PVC like it is now. Thanks!

Germ I have an Air Raid to. I have done all kinds of crap to my truck. A body lift would prolly affect the Air Raid but I dont have one of those so I cant say for sure.

I was only referencing that if you had a body lift it may affect the air raid setup. Then I referenced I do not have abody lift so I am not positive on that. SOrry to confuse the situation but it looks like bob hooked you up.

93, your friend is absolutly correct. I retired from the AF a few years ago. I'v traveled all over the world, and this is where I'll stay. Can't beat the scenery and the climate.
