Message: All the things I have read on this lift seem to indicate that it is a piece of crap. Some have used it successfully on vehicles that never see the dirt, but I cant understand why anyone would put a lift on for pavement use only.

Message: I had one of the first tuff country lifts for the Dakota, and it was a good lift. The only problem I ever had was the day I bought it, the upper a-arm slipped out of place (it's just a bracket against the frame), but after that I had no problems at all. It rides nice, and doesn't rub at all. You can actually go 35s if you want with a little trimming. Good Luck!!
