hey man, I was looking at you dak and I was wondering if you put you lund visor on or if it came like that when you got your kota. And if you did put it on, did you screw it on or did you put double sided tape or something like that. I was wondering cause I want to put one on mine and I don't really want to screw something in to my cab.

i put the same one on my wife's durango.
very easy there is a plate that has stick tape and sticks to the center of the roof and the sides get screwed to the jam in 2 exsisting screw holes and one additional one you need to drill and use a self tapper that is supplied with the visor.
i ran the wire down the jam to the front parking light.
very easy job.good directions come with the kit.

thanks durtydog, if it is possible could you send me some pics of where it meets the door jams, also did you only have to use one selftapping screw. thanks

if you peel up the rubber weather stripping you will see 2 screws under the rubber near the top front of the truck.
i remeber now that they have you drill out the other 2 and use bigger self tappers that hold the visor on.
it's been a while.
it is very stong and sturdy!
i run back and forth to maryland doing 80 mph and no shakes or vibrations out of the visor!
make sure you get the same one.
i thing its the lunar visor.
no problem with the help!
that's what message boards are for.
one of these days ill get one for my dakota.
my wife loves the way it looks with the addition of the westin safari bar all painted to match and hella 500 driving lights.
