Subject: 1995 Dodge Dakota Off road mods? IP: Logged
Message: I have a plain jane 1995 Dodge Dakota SLT Club cab 4x4. This summer i am planning on turning it into a off road machine, but i am having a hard time finding aftermarket parts for it. Can anyone help me with some suggestions on what to do to it or give me a website or dealer that sells aftermarket parts. Maybe a brushguard, lift kit, light bar, etc.

Message: I have a 94 and the only lift kit is from trailmaster, expect to pay 1400 just for the plain ol lift. make a rear bumper yourself if you have some friends with the tools, a body lift is more economical is you don't have much money to spend. just some thoughts.

Message: I also have a 95 dakota slt extended cab 4x4. I checked on lift kits at a local dealer and this is what I came up with. As far as body lifts go, you can get a 2" lift kit for around $80. It is the only one made for the extended cab truck. Now let's get into the suspension lift. The only company that I could find with a suspension lift for a '95 dakota was Rough Country. All they have is a 4" for approximately $1,600 plus installation.....unless you do it yourself.
