This is kind of a stupid question, but on my 99' Dakota 2wd, I was wondering what kind of differental I have, I think its a Dana 30 but Im not sure. Does anybody know?

The Diff is the center part of your axle where the driveshaft goes into it and holds the ring and pinion gears. If yours is a 2wd you probably have the Dodge 8 1/4 rear end. If you have the towing package then you would have the 9 1/4 like the 4x4's have.
