Message: This Kinda relates to a post I responded to earlier about how a friend of mine removed his torsion bars cut off his front A arms and welded leaf spring mounts up front. He as leaf springs on all fours. He also replaced the front and rear axles with DANA 60's and runs 36" tires.

Message: Whats the point?, don't get me wrong it's a
bad looking rig, but it's totally impracticle
as a daily driver, and the custom fabricated
suspension alone must have cost a small fortune.
Great show truck ,(if you had the cash flow),
but as a daily commuter - just wouldn't fly.

Message: MLP, You are right, not practical for an every day
commuter. However, the mod that my bud did on his Dak did not cost him any more than it cost to get a 5.5 tough country lift installed and even though he is running 36" tires he drives it to work every day. If it were me I would not have lifted it so high and would have only put 33" tires on it, that way it would be more practcal for commuting but still be a bad ass off-roader.

Message: Petersons 4 Wheel and Off road are the owners. It was one of their custom projects. I have the issue and it was pretty interesting reading. You should see the motor they dropped into it. HEHEHE! If you had the money they do you could build things like this with no worrys.
A guy I used to work with had 40's on his truck and it was his daily driver.
