I have a 00 Quad cab with the 4.7. Does anyone make any after market skid plates? I don't even have the plastic factory ones. I would like a transfer caes skid plate atleast.

I just made some for my 94 dak. when you make your own you have tons of options. I went with 1/8" aluminum sheeting from the start of the tranny to the end of the transfer case. Much better than plastic

Here are the drawings for the plates we designed.

FYI, the back transfer case mounting holes may need to be moved forward a few inches. Most dont have to but some due not quit sure why.

go to the dealer. The have accessory skid plates, that are steel. The price isnt bad either. they have a front susp., a transfer case, and a gas tank skid plate. I only have the front one on my truck and have used it many times without concern.
