Message: i recently purchased a 1988 dodge dakota 4x4 it appears to have a stock show bar whith two square lights with what looks like a stock switch also it sits fairly tall.
so did they make a v-6 4x4 sport or something like that
Message: 88 was the first year for the Sport package. The Sport was a late release, being offered after May of 88. The package was the Bosch fog lamps, bed bar with 2 off road lamps, black bumpers & grill and sport stripes. In 87, there was also an Indy 500 edition that also came with the bed bar.
My Dakota is an 88 V6 Sport.
