Look what i found for the Dodge Dakotas/Durangos. I like them better than the Hansons and they are a bit cheaper it seems. This one starts at $599 with lots of addons available. Heres what they quoted me:
- $599 basic Apache guard
- $50 euro bar on top
- $50 expanded metal behind euro bar
- $79 receiver mount 2"
- $58 tow loops
- $150 winch mount
- $129 cutouts/mounting brackets for factory foglights
- $150 Special brackets to accomodate 3" bodylift
- $150 Bedliner coating
- $150-200 for custom color powdercoating
(king ranch tan, stressed silver, red, blue, etc)
They have other models available check out the site Tough Country
Anyone interested...i was thinking about trying to get a group buy possibly. HMMmmmmm??

They got cheapo's on the shelf at Pep Boys and I could probably bend it by pulling on the bars. Sh*t construction.
My friend asked about getting one for his Nissan and they said "you need it functional or just for looks?". Most of what they sell is for looks!!!!!!!!!
I actually go off road and I'd like it strong enough to bash a few Honda's when I have to!

Message: Im sure they do have varying quality grades. The guy on the phone claimed a customer had one on a Chevy 2500, totalled it out, and yet put the bumper on his new truck cuz it wasnt damaged. He also said he has one personally and has hit a couple deer and hasnt done any damage other than to the deer.
The tow loops do look kinda cheap but otherwise it looks decent. I dont know though, I was looking for input from others so thanks for your input!

That alone makes me want to buy one!
ELK and DEER will total your sh*t in a second!
If it holds up to DEER, I could EASILY push a Dozen Honda Civic's out of my way when I needed to!

Message: My Hanson Bumper is in transit and I'll be picking it up Saturday. I have waited for a while for this and am prety excited. This Tough Country bumper looks a bit nicer, but I'm confident the Hanson is more heavy duty.
