Subject: Fender flares for bigger tires. IP: Logged
Message: Is there a company that makes wider fender flares for 2000 and newer Dakotas? I like the look of the bushwacker flares with the holes around the outside of the flare. I want those but on a dakota scale. The only flares like these that I can find are for fullsize trucks.

Message: Bushwhacker does not make the "cut-out" flares for our Daks. I believe all year have little fender to trim in front of door for such flares. You can only get the extenda-fender flares that I have from them, they add another couple inches to overall tire coverage from stock flares and look good. You'll have to custom make something otherwise, good-luck. Bob.
Flowmaster cat back, Volant Intake, Poweraid TB Spacer, Splitfire Plugs, full synthetic fluids 4 inch Rancho/3 inch body Lift, 315 70-17 on AE 219's, Rancho 9000x's Grizzly double/single rollbar with (6)Hella's, Manik Nerfs/Tailight Guards, Line-X, Hard Work & $$$$$$$$$$

Message: i had the same problem with my 87 dak i wanted the cut out flares but to only find that the extenda flare is only available. i was going to buy an extra set and add a few inches in length to the extenda flares. like 3-4 inches to bring the fender up to the front of the door hopefully i can fit the 34-35 in tires under it wit only a 3" body lift

Message: Well that sucks. It's true, it is harder to find the parts that I want for a Dakota. I guess custum fabbing is something I am going to become more familiar with.
