Subject: 2wd sport suspension too low
IP: Logged

Message:
I have a 2000 Club Cab Dakota Sport (2wd). I've noticed that all the stock 4x4 Dakota's come with a much higher suspension (by at least 3 inches) compared to my 2wd Dakota. I checked my axle at the back, and it's over the springs. Does anyone know what it would take to change both the front and rear suspension to give it the lift that the 4wd Dakota has. I dont want to buy a full blown lift kit, if I can just make a few mods to mine to get it off the ground, because it's really low right now.

There doesn't seem to be any posts that refer speciafically to the fact that 2wd dakotas (i assume) are much lower than the 4wd ones. If there's a post already about this, just refer me to that one.

Thanks.
