I just got some 265/75/16 pro comp m/t's on a set of AR baja's for an 03 4x4. I have read post that say you can fit these with out rub. I had the 265/70/16 goodyears on w/ the stock 16 x 8 rims and it looked like I could fit 265/75's with no problem but because I got the mud terrains I'm getting somerub right on the inner part of the front of the front wheel well. I have my torsion bars cranked about 1" or so but I'm getting some rub right on the head of the screws that hold the inner plastic to the inner front bumper.
I was wondering if anybody had any pics or pointers for me about cutting the front wheel well before I go and get a sawzaw and start cuttin the $hit out of my truck.
thanx

I just did that project this past weekend. I used a dremel with a cutting wheel. I had to cut right above the bottom screw on the fender flare straight across to the inside of the wheel well. It went pretty well as long as you take your time. I also had my brother drive the truck back and forth, cutting the wheel both ways and when I saw where it rubbed, I cut out a little more each time. It's not bad because if I can do it, anyone can. The trick is to cut on the inside of the fender flare towards the wheel well, not from the inside out. If you can keep your cut inside the fender flare and try to go in a straight line, no one will even notice the cut. Oh yeah, and don't forget if you start cutting around the bottom screw in the fender flare that there is a metal piece behind the plastic you'll have to cut through as well.
