Message: i was wondering has anyone tried goin to a coilover set up on a 2wd 87-96 dakota? I found fiberglass front fenders at glassworksunlimited.com and also bajaconcepts.com and ive found a way to flare out my existing bedsides, but i cant really find a good suspension to run. I dont trust my fab skills to make a triangulated 3link rear and new front crossmember to house a new set of long travel lower A-arms and upper J-arms along w/ all the mounts and cages to keep all that stuff in place. A lil info would be welcome from anyone.

Message: It is interesting to see that baja concepts is offering the very fenders that glassworks designed and builds .....for $10 less. Make sure you ask about the shipping up front. When I ordered mine, it turned out the shipping company tacked on an additional $65 for delivery to a residence instead of a business! If I would have known that I would have given them an address of someplace, ANYPLACE in town!
Sorry I can't help with the suspension, but I am curious as to what you got going for flaring the bedsides. I have the fenders on already and would like to match up the back.

Message: for the bedsides i did them today all i did was use a air chiesel to break all the spot welds and then i used some tubing that was left over from makin some dog pins(1.5" w/ 1/8" wall thickness)flatten the ends w/ a 5lb sledge and bolted them to the inside of the bed after i pulled on the top part of the wheel opening so now there about 4in flared out give me some time and ill see if i can get some pics

Message: Oh!!! I GOTTA see this! I'm not say'n I don't believe you, it's just that 4"s sounds like a lot without noticing a tailgate alignment problem or or incurring body distortion somewhere else on the bed. Pictures would be great!
We get some pictures out there with both the front and back done and we may see a sudden increase in the number of Gen I & II with the prerunner look. And it will be all your fault. HA!
