 Subject: 89 dakota 4x4 need lift

i needa lift of some sort i perfer a 3" body were do i get it and any one out there ever messed with the tortion bars to get more of a lift in the front how would i got about doing the tortion thing i never done it and would like info on how and what to do please and were do i get that 3" body lift

Torsion bar lifts are very tricky.. you can easily lift the front by tightening the bolts right there next to your torsion bar keys, but do not crank them over an inch.. you will be plagued with ball joint problems, by that i mean replacing them every 15000 miles, and if you crank them the 1 inch taller you will have to get it realigned to adjust the toe, hope this helps you
