Message: spike, the tires are 37x12.50x15 swamper ssr's. total lift is 3" body and 10" on the suspension. the biggest tip i can give is be patient it will take longer and cost more than you first estimate.taking the time to do it right will pay off in the end as i have had few bugs to work out. your 99 will be a bit easier because you already have a steering box instead of rack and pinion. i will be glad to share any knowledge i gained just tell me what you need to know. i'm usually on this site 2-3 times a week when i'm not deployed. eventually i will put together a web site with pictures and details on the build. thanks for the compliments

Message: Hey thanks for the rest of the info. Couple more questions. What did you use for the coil spring perches on the top and bottom. You, make them, or buy them somewhere or what? Hows it all drive now that youve got it done, I mean specially the front end hows it all ride. Can't decided whether I want to do coils or do leave in the front end. Oh also what size lift on the leaves in the rear and what kind? Also wanted to know if youve had the SSR's off road yt and in the mud? How they work? Well, thas all I've got for now. thanks again

Message: That's the way they should have came from the factory (solid axle). Tired of these crappy, IFS, ride like a car and hard/expensive to lift front ends.
