spike, the upper coil mounts are off the 79 f-150 frame and the lowers are also from the ford they are mounting and retainer plates that bolt to the radius arms. it rides and drives great i can let go of the wheel at highway speeds no prob. the steering is not as precise as with the r & p. all i can say is it drives and rides like a well built truck should. imo the coils are going to give a better ride than the leaf springs but either will work real well. the rear is stock leafs with a shackle flip and 2" blocks (soon to be replace with add a leaf). ssr's work pretty good in the mud but not as good as regular bias tsl's. perpetrate, yes stock master with ford calipers had to make costom hard lines metric one end standard the other. then ran standard 6" extended braided line to calipers. the front didn't really move forward we centered it in the wheel well. wiil try to post more pics soon.

Hey Tim thanks again for the info, but I got some more...sorry. Did you have any problems with the rear axle and it lining up correctly? Because I was noticing on mine, the rear pinion is offset to the passenger side in order to clear the gas tank and my problem is that my dana 60 out of a 72 dodge 3/4 ton isn't offset? I guess what Im asking is did you have to have the axle tubes on yours modified to correct this? My other question is are you running the stock transfer case and a slip yoke eliminator kit? I had to do one on my np231 in my cherokee and was wondering first of all did your have a 231HD like my dak does now or something else? Well, I hope these made sense? But thanks again for the help.

spike, my rear is a 9" ford we didn't have to modify the tubes at all and it lined up perfect. we sethe pinion angle and the tacked the spring perches on, then found that with the shackle flip the rear was 1/2" to far forward so we offset the pin hole in the perch forward 1/2" to move the axle back. t-case is 231 hd with the eliminator, i got this from high angle drive line. one prob you will have switching rear ends is the speed sensor that runs your abs, speedo, and trans shift points is in the rear end. we solved this by running a 40 tooth gear on the t-case output shaftand machining the housing to accept the sensor from the rear end. this was pretty involved as the mount for the sensor had to be recessed to get proper spacing between the sensor and gear. the tooth count was a bit off for my gear/tire combo but a superlift tru-speed easily corrected this. this was the biggest headache of the whole project. everything is working perfectly now though. hope this helps.

Hey Tim, how do you like the power with running the 4.56's. I've talked with several people and can't decided to run 4.56 or 4.88 with 37's. I've got a five speed manual. What's your pinion after running those gears? I don't do freeway as often and wonder how 4.56's do on the low end grunt and around town driving? Thanks again! Also, are you running 15x8 rims or what and with how much backspacing?

spike the 4.56's give me plenty of power and acceleration, but if i had it to do over i'd go 4.88. the overdrive would still provide comfortable cruising( btw i have a 360 under the hood.)and i'd have a little more grunt. with the manual trans i'd definitly lean toward 4.88's. the wheels are 15x8 with 3 3/4" backspacing.
