What do you think, geeps or trucks...
Personaly i am a truck guy but I like the short adgile body of the geep, but put to a test which would prevail to be the "king of the mountain"?
Thanks for reading this , and I hope to hear your respons...MIKE...

Message: Well Short wheel base on Jeeps is great, although the long wheel base will help alot more on hill climbing, like Steep hills. The short wheel base might cause you to flip backwards, which is a no no, but a long wheel base will help.
Also a jeep is very easy to turn over sideways, but almost any vehicle is easy to do that too.
I would rather Mud Bog with a jeep though, or cruise down a trail with little or no rough or extreme terrain, but in rough terrain I think i would rather have a truck.
A Jeep to me would be more fun, but a truck is just about all you need to overcome anything.
So i would say the king of the hill would be a Truck due to it's over all ability to climb hills and bog all at the same time.
Although I am talking about a Jeep Wrangler, which is what everyone classifies as just a jeep, the cherokee on the other hand, is probably a very good option of being king of the hill with it's increased length and wheel base.
So i say a tie between a cherokee and a truck. But sometimes it's all about how you drive it, I've seen a suzuki samurai climb a hill that very very steep and it didn't roll back, and I wouldn't have even dared try it with a truck even witht he long wheel base.

Message: I had an 89 Cherokee XJ, i was a great off-road vehicle out of the box. it has straight axles front and rear. id rather have that than IFS anyday. If i was to build a trail rig it would be a Jeep Cherokee. the 4.0's are pretty strong engines. I could probably build a Jeep better than i can a 4x4 Dakota, im not trashin the Dodge, but i just know more about them. anyways... i like both Dodges and Jeeps......o guess im done now....later....
