Subject: torsion bars IP: Logged
Message: I cranked up my torsion bars and about 2500 miles later my cv joints started making weird noises and than just fell apart and also my tires started wearing funny has anybody else made this mistake.

Message: did you get an alignment after you cranked them. if not, that is your problem.

Changing the ride height alters the camber angle of the front wheels. The strange wear in the tires is an indication of misalignment. The new camber angle scrubbed off tire tread, put a lot of stress on the suspension, and probably caused the cv joints to fail.
