Message: Pro Comp Mud Terrains, had mine for about 5 Months now and I love em. I got 31 1050's and they hum a little, but I have a bare metal floorboard for now. Anyway, I love the tires, they have cut down and pushed me through some pretty sloppy stuff.

Message: i have a set at Procomp Mud terrains on my old S10 (it's a 4x2). they are great in the mud at the ranch, but on the road they chirp and do all sorts of losing traction. they don't hydroplain ever though. too much void i'd guess. i got a set of BFG AT's on my 4x2 dak right now. just got in a wreck though so i haven't had time to really test 'em yet.

Message: I beg to differ. I';ve made plenty 4x4 truck owners jaws drop as I went further or without getting stuck in my 2wd.
If you look at a dak or most factory setup 4x4's they have an open front differential and an lasd out back in anything goowy the lsd beecomes open and the front axle is already open so basically 2wd.
locked rear axle 2wheels contantly spinning. works great for me. and I've always been able to go any were I wanted too.

Message: you can always replace the open diff with an limited slip up front and a full locker in the rear, or full lockers in both if it's a serious off roader. You sure as hell cant do that with a 2wd. I guarantee my 4x4 Dakota would put any 2wd to shame.

Message: do you have lockers? don't knock it till you try it and see. a built 4x4 will easily out do a built 4x2. but a properly setup 4x2 can get alot of places.
ever seen basically a stock 4x4 ranger with like 29inch tires out on trails? like the kinds rangers drive they can get those things just about anywhere.
I have a power trax lock right. atfirst it was great its still not bad but I get a loud meatle contact every now and then when it engages again and it drives me nuts.
