Subject: 87 tire size IP: Logged
Message: whats the biggest size tire you can run on a stock suspension on an 87? right now i have the torsion bars cranked up enough to level the truck out, and im runnin 235x75x15s. would 31.5x10.5x15s fit without a body lift? i would really like to run 33.5x12.5x15s with a 2 or 3 inch body lift. is this possible?
anyone?

Message: ihave a 87 with a 3" body and front t bars cranked. and i have 33x12.50 tires, and wheels from a ford explorer. with the combination from all of the above you should be able to clear 33x12.50's. but if u want to 4 wheel hard u have to do a little fender trimming. because mine rubs when i cut the wheel to the left or right when the suspension flex's

Message: well i think i currently have the 2.70 or 2.90 rear and it gets me there but it has no power. if u have an automatic it would burn it up for sure.
im gonna upgrade to the 4.10 ratio and a locker
it should be done soon if i ever get the damn truck back from the transmission shop.
